Uva ursi leaves have diuretic, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory action on the urinary tract. Heather is rich in flavonoids, hydroquinone glucosides, tannins and procyanidins, which not only have an antiseptic action on the urinary tract, but also a diuretic one, the latter mainly due to flavonoids.

Bilberries are rich in antioxidant, vasoprotective and anti-inflammatory substances, and have therefore often been used to fight urinary tract infections because of their ability to prevent pathogenic bacteria from adhering to the urinary epithelium wall. The white birch’s leaves contain high levels of flavonoids and minerals, which, combined, have a strong diuretic effect. Furthermore, the methyl salicylate present in its essential oil also gives this plant anti-inflammatory properties.
