Fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS) are a form of soluble carbohydrate found in many vegetables, such as endives and onions. When taken orally, they are only partially absorbed, as most of them are used as a nutrient substrate for the growth of the normal intestinal bacterial flora.

This results in the prebiotic action of the fructo-oligosaccharides, i.e. the growth of the bacteria of the normal intestinal flora and the reduction of pathogenic bacteria and fungi. The prebiotic function of FOS leads to the improvement of intestinal tone, the regulation of peristaltic movements of the intestine and the improvement of gastrointestinal disturbances due to intestinal dysfunction.

Nutritional research has shown that the daily intake of 8g of FOS for a period of 2 weeks is accompanied by an increase in the number of bacteria of the normal intestinal flora. More specifically, it is accompanied by a tenfold increase in Bifidobacteria, a threefold increase in Lactobacilli, while it also causes a simultaneous decrease in pathogens Bacteriodes microbes.

It is suitable for all ages, including children and pregnant women, as well as for people following a yeast-free diet, and for people under medication. It can be used for a long time.

Dosage: (1 teaspoon=5g)
This product can be used in one of the following 2 ways:
- In small doses, to maintain overall gut health and as a prebiotic
- In larger doses, to maintain bowel function.

Dissolve in hot drinks or mix with cereal. You can also get it from the spoon directly. Make sure you drink 2 liters of fluids a day.
