Lamberts Vitamin D 4000iu provides 100µg of this important micronutrient in the preferred form of D3 (cholecalciferol). This content is the one increasingly recommended for the correction of vitamin D deficiencies.

In the UK the only important dietary source of vitamin D is oily fish. Most of the vitamin D is produced after exposure of the skin to sunlight.
