LAMBERTS EVENING PRIMROSE OIL WITH STARFLOWER OIL 1000MG 90 CAPS

This product combines evening primrose oil with starflower (borage) seed oil to produce a blend that is richer in G-linoleic acid (GLA) than evening primrose oil alone.

GLA is a precursor to a specific and important prostaglandin called PGE1, which is involved in the regulation of the nervous, cardiovascular and reproductive systems, skin health as well as other biological functions. While the body can create GLA from Linoleic acid (the Omega 6 fatty acid found in vegetable oils) this conversion is sometimes slowed or completely inhibited.

For this reason, a dietary source of GLA can be very helpful for the body to bypass the conversion process, and countless clinical trials have shown that GLA supplements can be effective in certain cases. This product provides approximately 50% more GLA per capsule than similarly sized evening primrose oil capsules, and each capsule also provides the RDA (recommended daily allowance) of Vitamin E.
