Betaisodona cream is suitable for the initial treatment and disinfection of small, open wounds and minor burns. The active ingredient is called povidone-iodine, which belongs to the group of antiseptics and disinfectants and has a very broad spectrum of action. The ointment has a fast and long-lasting effect.

It is highly effective in swiftly eliminating bacteria, viruses, and fungi, thus preventing infections in topical wounds. It demonstrates a broad spectrum of microbicidal activity and provides extended wound protection for up to 48 hours.

Povidone iodine, a key ingredient, serves as a potent antiseptic that facilitates healing without hindering the process. It is effective against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative organisms and is applied to the skin to reduce the risk of infection, aiding in the healing of skin wounds, pressure sores, and surgical incisions.

Application: Apply once or several times a day to the affected area. The cream does not burn and can also be applied on children. We recommend covering the area with a plaster or bandage, as the ointment has a reddish/brown colour and can stain clothing. The cream should not be used if you are allergic to iodine or have thyroid problems.
